Soundscape - Remastering Music

I was tasked with improving a song by editing it in Adobe Audition.

Character Design - Creating a creature for an environment

I had the environment of the Arctic, as a set of rules to give myself I worked under the fact the surface of it was entirely made up of cotton plants. This led to research into looking at pastures and tundras and what dwells on the, I primarily focused on sheep, goats, cows and hedgehogs to influence my first creature.

It is a small mammal which grows to the height of the cotton plants, is prey and had sideways facing eyes for better peripheral vision, and its body is coated in spines which act like Velcro to collect the cotton for warmth, and camouflage.

The second creature took primary influence from a snake, this is because of its ability to quietly slither close to the ground and be able to weave about obstacles. its powerful hind leg allows for pouncing at prey.

Character Design - Personalized Equipment and Anthropomorphism

We began with creating equipment for a character, I chose to use Buzz Lightyear. He is primarily made up of squares and Circles, I decided what were the fundamental things about the character which helped express him.

Next we needed to create characters from objects, I used the example of a Library/Study in which to create mine.

Life Drawing

We had a female model today. I felt I needed to loosen up for drawing, meaning I wasn't happy with my first four attempts, each seven minutes.

We then did a 30 minute pose, I particularly liked this one, I felt I did will proportionally and anatomically. I framed the picture for composition.

I was particularly happy with the hand.

Finally we did another 30 minute pose. The model laid down for us. I liked how I emboldened the deeper lines with charcoal. Once again I framed the image for composition.
