Hi Tom - okay - well, I think the idea of having the cardiac cycle 'taught' to an 'invasion force' is nicely inspired. I think however, because the film is educative, you'll need to consider how you message the health aspect too - what I mean is, your film will also have to communicate something about the dangers of cholesterol or ways in which the 'heart' can protect itself - otherwise you risk making a story that appears to incentivise/glamorise the baddies. All this really means is that at the end of your film, the mission should in someway be scuppered or it should be shown that it cannot happen - or that the heart is defended unexpectedly. Does that make sense? Your film has to a) teach audiences about the nuts and bolts of the cardiac cycle and b) teach audiences about the ways and means of preventing/treating cholesterol.

Just in design terms - it's super early-days, but as 'cholesterol' is all effectively made of the same stuff, your character designs need to reflect this logic - by that I mean, you don't want that huge variance of textures and types as implied by your very early drawings - instead you need to establish a range of body-shapes that nonetheless feel as if they're 'family'.

Otherwise, yes, I think you're onto something - but you're going to need a really good script that is both accurate and accurate in terms of the genre you're pastiching. Time to watch a bunch of war films with newbie marines etc... Starship Troopers, Aliens, Full Metal Jacket....
